Watching his mom and grandma host dinner parties and holiday dinners was ultimately what propelled Guy into formal culinary training at the SBCC Culinary + Hospitality Program—and we couldn’t be happier about it. He cut his teeth on the LA food scene, assisting with the opening of Great White Venice, working at Dudley Market, and collaborating on countless pop-ups with the best of the best before starting his own shop—Birdeye LA. Whether he’s cooking a dish inspired by his travels, finetuning a family recipe, or firing up a wood oven, Guy believes all you really need is properly prepped and seasoned ingredients; the rest is about sharing moments and bringing people together.
