A FlowerSchool of New York alum, Marit is all about bringing the natural world to people through flowers. Fittingly, sustainability is at the core of her floral design practice—she wants to honor nature’s beauty, gravitating toward funkier blooms with unique textures, colors, and silhouettes and steering clear of wasteful mechanics that harm the environment. A horticultural therapy class confirmed what Marit already knew: Interacting with nature is the purest form of joy. In every arrangement, she strives to capture that.
