Drawn to both oil painting and film photography, Rhea is intrigued by vast, wide open landscapes—places where you can venture into the unknown. Painting in the Old Masters’ Technique or glazing applique to achieve a multidimensionality of light and color, her minimal landscapes are both meditative and subtly provocative. Through all of her work, she hopes to spark a discussion around our relationship with the natural world and create a sense of embodiment with the beauty of the land.
